#Friday #Friday #Friday – How did #Friday happen so #Fast?

“In not stating the goal to the students and wording them so they are understandable… it is like a family going on a trip with Dad in the driver’s seat and him not sharing what the destination is or how long the trip is going to take. Dad knows where he’s going, but the rest of the family has no clue.”

BTW – You can ask questions that you might not otherwise have the opportunity to in the comment section at the bottom of the daily posts. Mr. Korb will ALWAYS get a note if you do and he will answer it in a reasonable amount of time too.

#Camera in the #1600’s? #Vermeer is challenged by #Hockney

Happy Youth Art Month: Contemporary artist David Hockney has controversially proposed that Johannes Vermeer, from the Golden Age of Dutch Painting, used a forerunner of the camera during the 16th century, known as the Camera Obscura. While camera work is frowned upon by many fine artists today, Vermeer used images from that camera to project the scene he was to paint onto his canvas – nearly 200 years before the invention of the contemporary camera.
