Demonstrating the creation of a hand bound book to three different classes works to teach across the curriculum as well as demonstrating how the Visual and Applied Arts can be effective in many different aspects of one’s life experiences. A hand bound sketchbook demonstration and give away of said book shows how the personal creation of such a tool can reinforce the importance of drawing in one’s life and how the hand made can add a feeling of accomplishment and worth to an object.
