Goals:

- Consider the layering and transparency of the images / colors… what does this visually do for you, the painter? What does it do visually for the audience?
- ONE ADDITION TO THE HANDOUT – RESEARCH A CONTEMPORARY PORTRAIT ARTIST, Write a One Paragraph (or more) Biography about the artist, have 5 images as visual reference with TITLE, SIZE, YEAR, MEDIUM, and have VISUAL REFERENCES to their art in YOUR painting!

Studio Art 360: CLAY! Finally!

Goals
- 1.2P: Shape an artistic investigation of an aspect of present-day life using a contemporary practice of art or design.
- What challenges did you have in getting started this week on Tuesday with the clay? REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ARTWORK: Subtractive, Additive, and Manipulation to the clay. These techniques are REQUIRED in the FINAL Sculpture.
