Goals:

  • 1.1Ac: Individually or collaboratively formulate new creative problems based on student’s existing artwork.

Studio Art 360: COLOR and YOU!

What’s Picasso’s Color Scheme HERE? Don’t Know? Let’s Talk! http://www.dailyartfixx.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Acr%C3%B3bata-y-joven-arlequ%C3%ADn-Pablo-Picasso-Rose-Period-1905.jpg

Goals:

  • 3.1P: Apply relevant criteria from traditional and contemporary cultural contexts to examine, reflect on, and plan revisions for works of art and design in progress.
  • Why (again) is it important for an artist to choose colors CAREFULLY as they are developing a composition / artwork? What might the RIGHT colors do in an image versus the “wrong” colors?
  •  Assignment – FOR FRIDAY REPEAT THE ASSIGNMENT from above. MAGAZINE on SELFIES – Scholastic Art Magazine – May 2016

Reflection:  Review with neighbors the relationships of the colors on the color wheel? When you look in your closet… what COLORS do you think you have the most of hanging? Why do you think that you have more of that color than others?

ASSIGNMENT FOR MONDAY – Bring in a FEW FULL FACE SELFIES – Black and White or Color – OR EMAIL them to me… This is the UPCOMING ASSIGNMENT Requirement…
