6th Grade: Ceramics and Keepsake Boxes

We are beginning in CLAY! Woo Hoo! We are experimenting first and making some small keepsakes for our pockets. We are going to be making KEEPSAKE boxes – this is one I made for my daughter who collects matchbooks. What is a keepsake you have?

7th Grade: GLAZING – KILN GODS – Personal “Guardians” and Printmaking with water soluble crayons.

Printmaking has been around for a LONG time. Almost as long as Mr. Korb has been around. There have been a lot of movements in art that utilized the process of printmaking to express their beliefs and thoughts. German Expressionism was a huge one that implemented the ideas of printmaking to put a lot of their works and thoughts about the world out into the world.
