What’s been happening? It has been a long while since the last post. How have you been? Staying safe? Staying sane? Making art?
We’ve been working on ENGAGEMENT in the studio. Our classes have been a little low in numbers, and the technology has gotten the best of me. TIP – if you are using a camera as a demonstration tool, log into ZOOM first with the computer or you may miss the kids in the waiting room (so sorry folks… I hope you watched my video of 5B Art Foundations class from Tuesday. [Ok… as of this post 1 person has and that might have been me]).
In the end, it is the engagement of oneself in their education that is important. Being in the studio is important and being engaged in one’s learning is to. If you’ve gotten this far I am probably preaching to the choir – and those at this point in world history are pretty small – except maybe the ZOOM choirs, they are doing fine.
I hope you are safe and well. Join us for class – check in with your Google Classroom and click the link. Friday we are meeting with Milwaukee Artist Nicole Shaver in our weekly Friday Art Lunch Bunch. Hope you can join us.
P.S. If you want to check out some masterful blending techniques… here’s how to blend colors with your’s truly.
