Art Foundations: Color Theory and Tempera Paints to WRAP UP.

- G: 1.1P: Use multiple approaches to begin creative endeavors.
- A: Today we begin the ideas of THUMBNAILS and COLOR SCHEMES. You will be designing a work of art based on the ideas of the COLOR SCHEMES and creating a FAUX Stained Glass Window. We are working on the idea of using a base color to the painting as well. This will affect the feeling of the colors as you lay them on top. What are your feelings about the warmth or coolness of the painting? If you are thinking about creating a FAUX stained glass window you will need to bring in a frame with glass in it to paint on.
- G: How many thumbnails did you come up with? How many color schemes are you using? What is your MAIN idea for the color scheme painting?

Are you aware of the things that you are doing in Photoshop to make the photographs strong – across the board? What are the tools you are using? Talk to your neighbors about the images you have so far?
- G: Again… What did you accomplish today? What are the things that you need to get organized in the image gathering or editing to have this series done in the next two periods. We will set up the GOOGLE SLIDESHOW next time (or you can do it on your own) and then turn in the series at the end of the next block.
