#51: Learn the basic principles of color. There are three primary colors: red, blue, and yellow. They are the building blocks of all other colors. The secondary colors are violet (blue and red), green (blue and yellow), and orange (red and yellow). They are composed by the equal mixture of two primaries. All other colors are referred to as tertiary, because they are mixtures of a primary and a secondary color. Kit White 101 Things to Learn in Art School

Intro to Digital Art and Photography: A NEW Series and a few minutes to work on the slides…
- G: 1.2Ac: Choose from a range of materials and methods of traditional and contemporary artistic practices to plan works of art and design.
- A: What do you think of when you think of a SERIES of something? When it comes to ARTWORK… the artist creates a body of work that all has a common theme, feel, imagery to it. TODAY… we are going to be creating a SERIES of works in the building – COMMON idea. We are THEN going to be editing the images in PHOTOSHOP with a few specific techniques – all images need some tweaking.
- G: What was the SERIES you created for the studio time today? With limited space, objects, and ideas… you are going to take the experience from today and move it into the OUTSIDE of class time and space. This work is about YOU and YOUR experiences…
