Art Foundations: Bas Relief (Low Reflief) SCULPTURE? Last Day to work?

  • G: 7.1P: Hypothesize ways in which art influences perception and understanding of human experiences.
  • A:What are you hoping to accomplish today to FINISH your BAS RELIEF we get back into our DAY 2? We need to let things dry now as we finish this up. Then we BISQUE and then we GLAZE!
  • G: List one or two ways that you have seen your CONCEPT develop and be EMPHASIZED in the ceramic sculptural version of the collage?


Introduction to Painting: Mid Crit.

  • G: 1.2Ac: Choose from a range of materials and methods of traditional and contemporary artistic practices to plan works of art and design.
  • A: What are you planning on doing? This is the last day to work in the studio – the last FULL DAY that is. 
  • G: day 4 of painting is done… What are your results and what do you need to do to take this home over the weekend to get a good set of work done for the remaining days in the studio?

  • G: 1.2Ac: Choose from a range of materials and methods of traditional and contemporary artistic practices to plan works of art and design.
  • A: Open your photographs and , with your neighbor, talk about the series of images you have developed or begun developing in PHOTOSHOP. We will be taking the images you have created and, eventually, develop them into a work of FINE ART that combines the images. But today we work on the series.
  • G: What tools and techniques have you used in PHOTOSHOP today? List 5 things / tools / editing techniques that you used today on your images.
