Art Foundations: Bas Relief (Low Reflief) SCULPTURE?

  • G: 7.1P: Hypothesize ways in which art influences perception and understanding of human experiences.
  • A: What are three techniques that are REQUIRED in the process? What textures are you going to have to interpret into your sculpture from your collage? 
  • G: What techniques are REALLY important to be using to make sure any ADDITIVE clay really HOLD TIGHT to the clay you are adding it to?


Introduction to Painting: PAINT! That’s IT… oh – a short video too.

  • G: 1.2Ac: Choose from a range of materials and methods of traditional and contemporary artistic practices to plan works of art and design.
  • A: Talk to your neighbor about the idea that you have and talk about the CONCEPT that you are trying to communicate with your work? What is the MESSAGE? What is the MEANING? Use the RUBRIC that you have (or will get) and in the CONTENT section write out your thoughts. Make WISE USE of your ENRICHMENT TIME. On the sticky notes… what are your plans this week to get the most work done that you can?
  • G: Looking at the day you had today… what did you accomplish? What fell short? Remember that we have VERY LITTLE TIME ON THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS in studio to work. Will you be ready?   • G: What new techniques did you take away from the use of PHOTOSHOP today? How far along in the making of photographs / editing of the photographs / assembling of the slideshow are you and how far along do you have to go?
