Hello All (and especially acash93) – I got an inquisitive question about roof design from acash93 on YouTube this morning (hello again) and rather than a simple reply (which they did get back from me and a redirect to here) I drew out the explanation for a better understanding. I hope this helps.

Goals:
What did you do with the camera to make the BORING interesting?
There are NO CERTAINTIES in my work… VIDEO from Sean Scully… we can afford 8 minutes…
Goals:
Did today / this week move you toward a successful week of work? Do you feel that taking work home this weekend will be a good idea?
Goals:
What work are you planning for this weekend? Be specific… What are you going to set time aside for and work on?
Goals:
What was the best and the worst part of the work? What are you going to take into your next major artwork that you learned from this artwork? What makes you stop and THINK about the work you have seen bu others?
Goals:
What did you take away from this overall DEEP and difficult project?
Goals:
How did things go today? Look at everyones drawings and make comments about their figure drawings in their binders.
While in class we set goals in class based on the N.V.A.S. and the N.E.T.S… let’s take a look at our individual picture for a moment. Please think about the larger goal (NVAS) that is presented, but write out what we were hoping to gain from these experiences. It is always good to “look into the rear view mirror” to see who we were that made us who we are. Challenging to really see perhaps, but always good to think about and reflect upon.
Goals:
REVIEW the work you have done for today. What do you need to do for tomorrow? What do you need to expand on, tweak? Share the ideas / challenges with your neighbors.
Goals:
How does your art compare with the work of “professionals” and how can you work to create a better understanding of your approach / intent / ideas? Please don’t think of worse than or better than, but rather compare / contrast, similar / different.
Goals:
What are the strengths of the Composition? Where do you find the weaknesses in your work? How can you reflect tomorrow to change / alter / move forward from that?
What goals have you set for yourself? Are they BIG and BOLD? Are they small and subtle? Regardless as to the goals you have, make them attainable – but not too easy… you may get bored, and not too difficult… you may get frustrated. Just make them a smidge out of reach so you have to stretch!
Goals:
What was the most interesting thing you took away from this process of two point perspective, pastel drawing, microscopic images? Talk to your neighbor about the project and have a REAL discussion.
Goals:
As this develops, how are your ideas and Kandinsky’s similar and how are they different? What might you take away from this experience? How can you share that idea with the world? WRITE this out from the beginning of the hour. Has it Changed?
Goals:
1.2 create gesture drawings that demonstrates an understanding of how your ideas and observations (and mark making) relates to the 1.2.1 materials, 1.2.2 techniques, 1.2.3 and processes you use.
1.3 communicate ideas clearly
What was most difficult about the drawings today? what were the things that you found fun? What is your largest fear of the human form?
Goals
1.2 create Oil Pastel 2 Point Perspective drawing that demonstrates an understanding of how your ideas relate to the 1.2.1 materials, 1.2.2 techniques, 1.2.3 and processes you use
1.3 communicate your personal ideas clearly
What do you you need to CLEAN things up before Wednesday rolls around? How are you going to write about the work?
Goals
Biggest struggle / success for today? Write it out and the WHY!
Goals
Of ALL the works you have created SO FAR… Which are the BEST 5? TOMORROW… Mounting the QUALITY Section of the portfolio.
If you have not yet signed up for the texting service… one more day of information:
