With the year ending, and my 19 years (I’m still giving them my 100% – and SUMMER SCHOOL with Plein Air Art), I have created a final work for the AP Kids. Titled Eleven Concentrations and One Breadth it is a work using the works of the 12 AP kids. I have truly enjoyed the time with each of them and I wish all of the art students (and all the rest of my students) well as they continue to move forward in their career. Keep in touch.

Who are your classmates? This is a tough question to ask. Who are you and how will another person see you? What materials are you thinking about? Proportion? Perspective? Symbolism? Remember the words of Jeanne Greenberg Roahtyn’s comment from Work of Art: “Portraiture’s main goal is to represent a person…”

What did you take away from the critique today and yesterday? I sit and reflect on the years of teaching the art of the critique and I see the skills you have all developed. I am proud that your skills are being shown (and some of you are in need of developing a voice – I know the thoughts are there – we just need to open the mouth!)
