AP Studio Art

  1. Know about and work on an answer about your fears / challenges / rationale regarding the concentration for this year. (1. Briefly define the nature of your Concentration project. 2. Briefly describe the development of your Concentration and the sources of your ideas. You may refer to specific slides as examples.)
  2. Create a UNIQUE and PERSONAL Procedural (techniques) or Declarative (ideas / rationale) goal for the hour that is clear, measurable, or observable. (I will be checking these as the hour progresses).

Advanced DrawingWayne Thiebaud

  1. Know about a variety of mark making techniques with soft pastels.
  2. Work on PERSONAL architectural compositions (linear perspective) keeping a specific ELEMENT and / or PRINCIPLE in mind for emphasis / unity.
  3. Createa UNIQUE and PERSONAL Procedural (techniques) or Declarative (ideas / rationale) goal for the hour that is clear, measurable, or observable. (I will be checking these as the hour progresses.)

Painting  – Edward Hopper

  1. Know about a variety of mark making techniques with watercolors.
  2. Work on PERSONAL architectural compositions (linear perspective) keeping a specific ELEMENT and / or PRINCIPLE in mind for emphasis / unity.
  3. Create a UNIQUE and PERSONAL Procedural (techniques) or Declarative (ideas / rationale) goal for the hour that is clear, measurable, or observable. (I will be checking these as the hour progresses.)

Art Foundations – Perspective One Again

  1. Work on SIMPLIFIED use of Positive and Negative Space drawings and how to create a balanced final composition.
  2. Know about the use of perspective, both linear and non-linear perspective, and the rules that govern the ideas.
