It has been a fast 7 weeks in the studio and we only have 2 more. How many major works? At least one across the board – maybe… Hope we can have a SPECTACULAR week artists – 4 days for me – 5 for you!

#Creativity in the #ArtStudio – This is all about #You and your #Efforts

All of the thinking about “Creativity” is about you and how you approach the process and product of your work. Your final product is only part of the the success of your work. What else is it about? The preliminary drawings you make, the attitude you walk into the studio with, the way you approach each and every day. The final work isn’t even the most important part of the work – the PROCESS in the importance of the work. Get to work!

#Tuesday is upon us… #Sorry I missed you yesterday. How’d things go?

Studio Art 360 – BAS RELIEF SCULPTURE! Lincoln Monument Bas Relief. 

A preliminary state of Ed Hamilton’s Work… Let’s visit the site!

Goals:

  • 1.2P: Shape an artistic investigation of an aspect of present-day life using a contemporary practice of art or design.
  • What challenges did you have in getting started last week on Friday with the clay? REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ARTWORK: Subtractive, Additive, and Manipulation to the clay. These techniques are REQUIRED in the FINAL Sculpture.

What was the largest success you have in today’s work? Take a look at the rest of the classes work BEFORE we clean up. PAUSE 10 minutes before the end of class.
