Pierre Bonnard – What was his COLOR SCHEME? How did he change the idea of the OBSERVATION and make it his own?

GOALS

  1. 1.1 apply media (Oil Pastels), techniques (6 of them), and processes with an awareness so that your ideas are executed well.
  2. 2.6 create multiple solutions to visual challenges that show understanding in relationships between composition and meaning of artwork.

  2. 2.3 Create artworks that use organizational structures and functions to solve specific visual art problems. COMPOSITION! Planning!

Where are you with the ADVENTURES illustration? Where are you with your CONCENTRATION work? I am hoping you are making STRONG progress in the development of the CONCENTRATION. Where are you in Chapter 6 of Art and Fear? What is your plan for accomplishing this amount of work in the short time allowed? What was the struggle you had in the past 2 weeks? What struggled? What soared? What will you have to do to adjust your working schedule?

  1. (1.2.2 and 3) Create drawings that demonstrates an understanding of how your ideas relate to technique and process of CHIAROSCURO (P).
  2. (1.2.2 and 3) Create drawings that demonstrates an understanding of how your ideas relate to technique and process of Interior 2 Point Perspective!(P).

Review with neighbors the progress of the chiaroscuro and the proper use of 2 point perspective. What have you done better today than you have done in the past?

Eric’s Tips on OIL PASTELS! A GREAT place to begin thinking about the ways to use oil pastels. Let’s practice! Let’s learn from the Art Foundations Students.

Let’s choose a branch from the lockers… let’s then choose a series of colors and techniques. You will use a finger blend, paper towel blend, tortillion blend, pastel on pastel blend… Scratch into the pastel blend / texture… What else do you think you can do?
