Working from YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS we will be creating landscape paintings in acrylic! This is one of MY FAVORITE activities to do as an artist. I LOVE landscape paintings… here is one of mine from a few years back… a plein air approach at Taliesin in Spring Green, WI.

There is not a lot of new classroom stuff to say right now except that I am now a PROUD WILDCAT at Forest Park Middle School with the Franklin Public Schools in Franklin WI.
28 years ago I started teaching. 28 years. I met a mom at open house this past week who was a first grader when I started teaching at Forest Park – she was at one of the elementary buildings – but she remembered me! Maybe it was my red sneakers that she remembered. I also reconnected with many of my family and friends.
Unfortunately, I also had to say goodbye – a very tear filled day of goodbye to Fort Atkinson High School. The past five years were wonderful and I learned a lot and made so many connections that I hope are life long connections. Thank you Fort.
