AP Studio Art – Back to School

  1. Know that vacation time is quickly ending.
  2. Work on SELF-PORTRAIT – 2 Mediums minimum of YOUR CHOICE. Push the darks and the lights. Frontal-View of Self or Profile. Background images are optional, but the image MUST say something about you – not just be an image of you. Minimum size is 8″ x 10″ and Maximum size is 18″ x 24″ (landscape of portrait). Consider proportions and decide what you want to do with them (real or distorted – have a rationale for your decision). THIS NEEDS TO BE THE BEST WORK YOU CAN DO! DUE DAY 1 of School – Critique and Conversation is the FIRST TASK of DAY 1.
