We are going to look at abstraction next – so be prepared for the ideas of simplification and color schemes. For the past two days you have been drawing folded fabric over nothing recognizable. Today, we brought in skeletons… What is the difference when it comes to including a figure to the composition? Did you choose to develop the figure in the composition? Did you choose to leave the figure out? Either way was acceptable, but each one holds its own visual challenges and meanings.
