Do your measurements work for your phone?

  • Day 1 and 2: Instructions, Planning, Photograph ideas, Supplies Handed Out.
  • Day 3 – 5: 2 DAYS OF SCULPTING: Begin and continue sculpting, slab building, wrap up, set out to dry!
  • Day 6: Finish it up! Let Dry and then FIRE!
  • Day 7: Photograph and Load Kiln
  • Day 8: Unload Kiln, check for damage, cry a little maybe, photograph and begin glazing
  • Day 9: Glaze and Reload Kiln and FireDay 10: Unload Kiln, Photograph, Assess, and Display

  • Day 6 – 8: Paint and Decorate and Make these PERSONAL and MOVING!
  • Day 9: Photograph, Critique, Nametags, and Turn in for assessment

Looking for a smidge of EXTRA CREDIT in your CHARACTER grade?

Extra Credit Options in Mr. Korb’s Art Room: come in during the afternoon to help get the Art Studio Polished and Ready for 2nd Semester to begin. Desks to clean, lockers to square up, pencil bags and supplies to restock and organize. There is a lot to do that our ICE DAY took away – so if you are in need of some points and character building… come in to demonstrate your concern for a well set up studio.

EXAM SCHEDULE

8th Hour 7:25 – 8:55am – RtI Study Hall

7th Hour 9:05 – 10:35am –ย Studio Art 360 (announcements at 10:30)

6th Hour 10:45 – 12:15pm – AP Studio Art

  • Buses leave at 12:25pm
  • Detentions start at 12:30 in room 114
  • Cafeteria is closed after the last test hour

All students must complete their detention obligations before the end of the semester. See above semester exam schedule for detention times.

Attention students: We will NOT distribute a paper copy of your 2nd semester schedule. You will need to log into Power School and click on the โ€œgrade/attendanceโ€ screen. From that screen you will have the option of either looking at your schedule or printing it out.

Second semester schedule changes must be completed by end of exams on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
