#Tuesday – Let’s #Reconnect in the #Studio

Learn To Draw: “Drawing is more than a tool for rendering and capturing likenesses. It is a language, with its own syntax, grammar, and urgency. Learning to draw is about learning to see. In this way, it is a metaphor for all art activity. Whatever its form, drawing transforms perception and thought into image and teaches us how to think with our eyes.”

Stained Glass:  Curved Shapes and PERFECTION

2.1Ac: Through experimentation, practice, and persistence, demonstrate acquisition of skills and knowledge in a chosen art form.

Curved Lines are a new challenge in this process. What is one thing that you need to do in order to cut a curve that might be different than a straight line? Why?

Do you see any chance that one of  your patterns may require a new approach or revision in the design? You’ve got a week and a day of skill now… what can you do.

CIaD: Shape Characters

Think about the tools that you were very good at over the past few days and be ready to make a self  portrait very VERY quickly (an exercise in RUSHING through a project as well as an exercise in using your knowledge against a deadline).
