Drawing:

1. Know about the use of a grid to transfer images form a photograph to a final work of art (D).
2. Work on drawing out a grid on drawing paper and on the photograph (P).
3. Work on and Know about the various levels of grey that can be found in each square of the photograph (D&P)

2. Self – Reflect on your participation in the poster (one paragraph).
3. Review with partner the terms and questions from Chapter 1.

2. Reference NEW Goal Sheet and explain to Mr. Korb your new work.

Drawing:

1. Work  with the goal of finishing your value scale drawings using Compressed Charcoal and Vine Charcoal.
2.  Know and understand the differences that compressed and vine charcoal have when compared to one another.

Art Foundations:

1. Work collaboratively with partner on Be Statement Poster.
2. Know about terms and ideas in Chapter 1 – Lesson 3.

AP Studio Art:

1. Work on Concentration #7 .
2. Reference NEW Goal Sheet and explain to Mr. Korb your new work.
3. Know about the AP Testing schedule and the process.

Drawing:

1. Work on value scale drawings using Compressed Charcoal and Vine Charcoal.
2.  Know the differences that compressed and vine charcoal have when compared to one another.

2. Know terms and ideas about Art in Your World from Chapter 1 – Section 2 and 3.
3. Know the Art Department Website and the variety of resources it offers.

AP Studio Art – Crit.

1. Listen Carefully to critiques from classmates about your and your classmates’ Concentration Works.
2. Constructively Contribute to the Critiques of your classmates’ works.
3. Reflect upon what was said, what you said, and how it all relates to your upcoming works.

Drawing – Value Scale

1. Work on Value Scales using Ticonderoga Pencils, Drawing Pencils, and Compressed Charcoal.
2. Know and experience the challenge that working with various materials can offer.
3. Know the differences that choices in materials can add to an art work.
