What have you done to compose an image that will stop a viewer and allow them to think about and consider what you have put in front of them? What are you going to do to begin thinking about the idea of abstratction and collage?

What do you see as being something you have TRULY improved upon or learned about the making of art with these matereials and process? We will take a look on Friday as to what you are accomlishing and what it is you need to really focus on. Monday is the due date – what will you do to get it done?

“There are only two rules for any artistic process. The first is that we must choose a subject that matters to us, a subject that we care about on an intensely personal level. We cannot copy someone else’s concept or borrow an emotion. The second rule is that we must be open to criticism and participate in the discussion. By doing so, we gain insight about others and ourselves, as well as the language and power of art.” – Destiny Allison,Shaping Destiny,” 2012
