Art Foundations 2D – Prairie Style Architecture

  1. 1.4 create, and solve 2 Point Perspective HOUSE drawings using 1.4.1 analysis and a group.

Requirements for Today’s Group Drawing

  • Horizon Line with Vanishing Points in the correct places.
  • Cube that will become a house.
  • A window and a door that shows the thickness of the walls and the inside of the building.
  • A peaked roof that has an overhang. The front corners of the roof must be drawn correctly.
  • A sidewalk that either runs along the side of the house or runs in front of the house (maybe extra credit if you can have a second sidewalk running from the door to the sidewalk).
  • A cantilever that hangs below or above the window (it is either a flower box or a box above the window).
