Take your pencils and walk around to EACH of the drawings and write out your thoughts about the drawing. Do this in the JOURNALING portion of the goals sheet. It can be a couple word statement, an impression to the work, a complete sentence or two, or other significant thoughts about the work in front of you. Do your best to get to as many of the works as possible and DO NOT READ WHAT OTHERS HAVE WRITTEN!

    Do you know when to stand? During the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, the advancement and retirement of colors.

    Did you know that American Legion Post will be firing their rifles during the retirement of colors.

    Whether you agree with the use of military or not, the respect that these men and women have earned and the amount of respect that you need to offer our veterans needs to be demonstrated.

    Please remember that you will be attending the presentation as a class. Sit with your teacher and class. This Veteran’s Day Assembly is a presentation not a pep assembly. Be aware and intentional of the speakers, the music, and your behavior.
