Goal: Time with the family AND good friends. Going to see James Bond – Skyfall and then lunch.

Access Prior Knowledge: The last time I went to the movies with this group was when “The Right Stuff” came out… I was such a little kid, but we had a great time! Going to be just as fun!

New Information: Daniel Craig as Bond… toughest and coolest Bond (since Sean Connery) Going to have a great time.

Apply Information: Enjoy the film and the friends and the food.

Generalization: How can Bond continue for another 50 years? I sure hope there are a lot more great films like this one. I am a Bond fan. (I am also a fan of Ms. Moneypenny.)

November 22, 2012 – Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving – http://lauriekendrick.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/thanksgiving-from-springfieldpri.jpg

Goal: Eat a lot of Turkey… run a few miles… maybe 10… that would be nice… a little nap maybe… not too much dessert, that would be bad… ok… more dessert.

Access Prior Knowledge:  Based on years past… I need to keep an eye on the stuffing bars and buns… they tend to burn

New Information: This is going to be a small Thanksgiving, so we can go pretty small on the cooking.

Application of Information: EAT!

Generalization: I am not sure what happened. I feel SO full and bloated. I think the nap is about ready to happen. Sleepy… Zzzzzzzzzzz. Burp! Excuse me… Happy Thanksgiving!
